Biography

Two loving parents are driving along in their Mazda circa 1985, when they hear a small two year old voice humming along to the Dire Straits song coming over the radio. Born in 1982, Greg Place has been linked to music since before memory.  Some say he has the body of a 28 year old, but the spirit of a 47 year old. His songs have more to do with Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Neil Young, the Beatles and Bob Dylan, than most music from the past decade or two. He writes and performs songs with a quiet intensity that draws the listener in with focus.  He sees the art of music as a way to express what we all see and feel, and that doing so brings us closer to a shared consciousness… well that, and it just feels good to Rock ‘n’ Roll, doesn’t it?
